These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Papazau MCP server ("the Service") operated by Papazau ("we", "us", "our") from Taipei, Taiwan. By calling any Papazau tool — directly or through an AI agent such as Claude — you ("you", "the User") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Papazau exposes travel-booking tools via the Model Context Protocol so that AI agents can search and book hotels, flights, and airport transfers on the User's behalf. The Service includes:
- Hotel inventory across Taiwan (additional markets coming, see Roadmap)
- Real-time flight offers via Duffel for Asia-Pacific routes
- Airport-transfer dispatch for Taoyuan (TPE) and Songshan (TSA) airports
The Service is provided in two modes:
- Test mode — no real reservations or charges; intended for development and evaluation.
- Live mode — real reservations with real money. The
modefield in every tool response identifies which mode applies.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter contracts to make bookings through Papazau. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. AI agents acting on your behalf
Papazau is designed to be called by AI agents. You are responsible for any booking made through an AI agent you have authorized to use Papazau — including bookings the agent makes incorrectly, misunderstands, or makes from a hallucinated request.
We strongly recommend that you:
- Use
destructiveHint-aware AI hosts that prompt you to confirm before executing booking, payment, and cancellation tools. - Provide a unique
idempotency_keyfor every distinct booking attempt to prevent duplicate orders during retries. - Verify booking confirmations sent to your email before traveling.
4. Bookings and payments
4.1 Pricing
All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Flight prices are quoted in the currency returned by Duffel (typically USD); transfer and hotel prices are in TWD. Prices may change between quote and booking; the price confirmed at the booking step is the price you pay.
4.2 Payment processing
Payments for airport transfers are processed by ECPay 綠界 through a hosted checkout URL. Card data never reaches Papazau servers. Flight tickets are issued through Duffel's payment infrastructure. Hotel reservations made in the current release are settled at the property at check-in (subject to the property's policies).
4.3 Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when our system returns status: "confirmed" (flights, hotels) or status: "paid" (transfers, after payment completion). Quotes, holds, and pending statuses are not bookings.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Each booking type has its own policy. Cancellation timing matters — read the policy attached to your specific booking before making travel plans.
5.1 Hotels
Each hotel sets its own cancellation policy, returned in the cancellation_policy field of the booking record. Typical Taiwanese boutique hotels allow free cancellation 2–7 days before check-in.
5.2 Flights
Refundability depends on the fare rules of the ticket, returned in the conditions field by get_flight_details. Many low-cost fares are non-refundable. Where refunds are allowed, they are processed through Duffel and may take 7–30 business days to appear.

Refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.
6. User obligations
By using the Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when booking.
- Use travel documents (passport, visa) that match the passenger names you submit. Name mismatches may result in denied boarding without refund.
- Not use the Service to book fictitious travel or to defraud carriers or hotels.
- Not abuse retry / idempotency mechanisms to game pricing or hold inventory.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or rate-abuse the Service.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced at least 24 hours in advance. We are not liable for missed travel arising from Service downtime; please confirm critical bookings through email confirmation and contact the property or airline directly if uncertain.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Papazau acts as a booking intermediary between you and the actual travel supplier (hotel, airline, driver). The travel supplier — not Papazau — is responsible for the actual service.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (lost profits, missed connections, alternative-travel costs) beyond the price you paid for the affected booking.
- Our total liability for any single booking is capped at the price you paid for that booking.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Taiwanese law.
9. Third-party services
Some Papazau functionality relies on third parties (Duffel for flights, ECPay for payments). Their terms also apply to the relevant portion of your interaction:
10. Intellectual property
The Papazau MCP server source code is released under the MIT License. Branding (the Papazau name, logo, and design assets) and the curated hotel inventory descriptions remain our property and may not be reproduced without written permission.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, Republic of China. Any dispute arising from the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation; unresolved disputes shall be submitted to the Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page and (for active customers) communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
